Tiene como finalidad generar transparencia, condiciones de confianza entre gobernantes y ciudadanos y garantizar el ejercicio del control social a la administraci\u00f3n, sirviendo adem\u00e1s de insumo para ajustar proyectos y planes de acci\u00f3n para su realizaci\u00f3n.<br \/><br \/>Los mecanismos de rendici\u00f3n de cuentas permiten a los ciudadanos y otros grupos de inter\u00e9s obtener con mayor facilidad informaci\u00f3n sobre la gesti\u00f3n de las entidades p\u00fablicas y sus resultados, generando mayor transparencia, activando el control social, permitiendo a su vez que las administraciones tomen mejores decisiones incrementando la efectividad y legitimidad de su ejercicio.<br \/><br \/><\/div><div>En el Plan de Acci\u00f3n Nacional de Gobierno Abierto de Guatemala 2016-2018, se estableci\u00f3 en el eje tem\u00e1tico de Rendici\u00f3n de Cuentas, el compromiso 14 de crear \u201cMecanismos de Rendici\u00f3n de Cuentas en los Gobiernos Locales\u201d, debido a la necesidad de fortalecer el tema en las Municipalidades hacia los ciudadanos y hacia los \u00f3rganos de control.<br \/><br \/>En este espacio encontrar\u00e1 los documentos incluidos en la Gu\u00eda Estandarizada de Rendici\u00f3n de Cuentas para los Gobiernos Locales en los cuales se indican deben ser publicados en portales web y medios de comunicaci\u00f3n.<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bd0a796 elementor-widget elementor-widget-wpfd_choose_category\"
